Otis Holloway passed away, on Wednesday, October 23rd, in Washington, D.C. Otis was a guiding light in the Black Professionals in International Affairs – (BPIA) community and a cherished member of the Inaugural Cohort of the Colin Powell Leadership Institute. To know Otis was to know genuine warmth–his smile could light up any room, and his commitment to lifting others up was nothing short of extraordinary.

Those who knew him will forever remember his welcoming smile, his generous spirit, and his remarkable ability to make everyone feel seen and valued.

Funeral Plans

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. at 1495 Morris Rd SE, Washington, DC 20020. The Funeral service will be on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11 a.m. at
Little Rock Primitive Baptist Church – 1790 Ali Baba Avenue, Opa-Locka, FL 33054
